You have questions,
we have answers.

Who are your consultations for?

Parents of toddlers and preschoolers, 18 months to 5 years. Ready to Regulate is for meltdowns, big feelings and hard transitions. Ready for Bedtime is for bedtime battles, night wakings and early wake-ups. It may not be the right fit if your child's behavior is unsafe, such as frequent aggression or self-injury, if you've noticed a loss of skills, or if you're looking for a diagnosis or therapy. If you have any concerns about your child's health, development, or safety, please talk with your pediatrician first. They can help you decide on the right next step, and I'm happy to point you toward other support as well.

Which consultation is right for my child?

If the hardest moments happen during the day (meltdowns, transitions, big feelings), choose Ready to Regulate. If the struggles happen at bedtime or overnight, choose Ready for Bedtime. If it's both, start with whatever feels hardest right now. You can mention everything in your intake form, and we'll talk about it during our call.

Is this therapy or an evaluation?

No. Both consultations are parent consultation and education services. It isn't an occupational therapy evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment, it doesn't replace care from your child's pediatrician or therapists, and it isn't billed to insurance. Please talk with your pediatrician about any questions or concerns regarding your child's health or development.

What happens during the consult? Does my child need to be there?

No, the consult is just for you. Before we meet, you'll fill out a short intake form. Then we'll spend 60 minutes on Zoom talking through your child's hard moments and what to try at home.

What is the Playbook?

A written document made for your child, with the strategies we discussed, so you don't have to remember everything from the call. Ready to Regulate families receive a Regulation Playbook, and Ready for Bedtime families receive a Bedtime Playbook. You'll receive it within 7 business days.

How does email support work?

You get 2 weeks of email support, starting the day your Playbook arrives. I reply Monday–Thursday, usually within 1 business day. If illness or travel gets in the way, you can delay the start once, for up to 30 days.

What if my child needs more than this?

I read every intake form before we meet. If your child's needs are outside what this consult covers, before or during our time together, I'll refund your fee in full and suggest the right next step.

What's your cancellation policy?

Payment is due when you book. You can reschedule up to 48 hours before your consult, and cancellations made more than 48 hours before receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours and missed consults are non-refundable. Once the consult has taken place, the fee is non-refundable, including the Playbook and email support.

What happens when my two weeks of email support end?

You'll receive a wrap-up email with your next steps. If you'd like more support, you can add a 30-minute follow-up call or an extra week of email support.

Do you offer sleep training?

Ready for Bedtime is gentle, customized sleep support. Together, we'll choose an approach that fits your child and your comfort level, with practical changes to routines, the sleep environment and how you respond at bedtime and overnight. I do not use cry-it-out methods.
